Feedly Friday is a biweekly round-up of manga-related links from my Feedly/RSS reader and around the web.

A bit of a short roundup as I’m crunched for time, but first, a bit of an announcement: I’m now the Manga Managing Editor over at Organization Anti-Social Geniuses! Outside of getting to press a few extra buttons that could potentially blow up the site (poor, naive Justin…), this also means I oversee most of the manga-related content. We’ve got an awesome new writer (shout-out to Paige!) and some great content coming that I’m pretty excited about. I’m always looking for tips, tricks, and advice from other manga bloggers, so feel free to contact me!

That said, OASG had some great content this week: This week Muse and Helen debuted our Shoujo You Should Know feature series, and the first series out of gate is Clamp’s Wish. Justin talks to manga translator Amanda Haley about the biz, and Paige has an impressive article on out of print manga. Finally, I attempt to get back to reviewing regularly by tackling Junji Ito’s Gyo.

ANN’s House of 1000 Manga reviews Kekkaishi, then formally announces their closing their doors! In the first part of the column finale, Shaenon runs down her favorite manga.

ANN also has a wonderful article on how best to tackle the behemoth that is One Piece. Personally Viz’s 3-in-1 omnibuses have worked for me!

Elsewhere is manga blogging happy land, the best read of the week easily goes to Kathryn’s The Cultural Cross-Pollination of Shojo Manga. Ganriki examines one of my top anime series, Darker Than Black, and reminds me that even that is almost 10 years old (wow…). Over at The Beautiful World, Foxy Lady Ayame looks at the relationship between Attack on Titan’s Erwin and Levi.

After some nudging from an acquaintance I’ve decided to dive into Oregairu, but I probably would have anyway given the numerous great essays b0duh has written on the series. This week he drops another great one about growing up.

I’m forgoing the review roundup as I debate splitting that into a separate weekly post but let me know… Did I miss anything? Feel free to shoot me links in the comments!
